Questions about a second passport or dual citizenship?

Here are our most commonly asked questions. If by chance we don’t have the answer you’re looking for here, use the button at the bottom of this page to ask our experts directly.

We wish we could wave a magic wand and transport you to your new country with a place to live, a car to drive, great business connections, and an awesome school for your children to go to.

But, we can’t. There’s a process involved. And while we’re all about making that process as quick and as painless as possible, it’s totally understandable that you’d have some questions about it.

You’re making a huge life decision, after all. And only a crazy person would make such a large decision without carefully thinking through it and asking questions.

So it’s good you’re being smart about it.

Which countries can you help me emigrate to?

We specialize in helping our clients get permanent residency and passports in eleven different nations:

  1. Antigua & Barbuda
  2. Bulgaria
  3. Canada (Quebec)
  4. Cyprus
  5. Dominica
  6. Grenada
  7. Hungary
  8. Portugal
  9. Lucia
  10. Kitts & Nevis
  11. The United Kingdom

We’ve chosen these countries because their governments offer investment-for-visa programs that are much easier to navigate, almost always result in citizenship and a second passport, and should anything go wrong, you’ll get your investment money returned back to you.

They all also offer a singular process: meaning the application for a visa and making the investment are all done in one go and you don’t have to further complicate things by navigating between multiple government and private entities, which takes a lot more time and increases your financial risk.

What kind of investments can I make?

Every country’s investment opportunities for high net worth individuals are different from the next.

Out of the eleven countries we help relocate people to, government bonds, real estate, land development, infrastructure, and business purchases are common.

How much should I plan to invest in your services?

We try to keep our service pricing fair and minimal for the assistance we provide and the work we do to help you choose the most sustainable path to the country of your dreams.

A common starting price point is US$10,000, which includes:

  • Education about all the different investment options we can help you with to gain your second citizenship so you can make the choice that’s best for you. (We have no vested or financial interest in any of the programs we present, so your decision is your decision.)
  • Delivery of the exact paperwork you need to complete.
  • Assistance uncovering difficult-to-find information for your paperwork. (For example, many countries require a Source of Funds report, which can be difficult to track when most banking systems are good, bad, or indifferent.)
  • Weekly follow-up calls, if desired.
  • Availability to answer any and all of your questions every business day.
Are there any limitations to the kind of visa you will help me and my family get?

Typically, we help you immigrate initially on an immigrant visa, so the first thing we do together is help you get that secured.

With this visa, there are often no restrictions as far as your ability to live, work, and study from your new country.

What if I don’t get approved for citizenship in my new country?

This rarely ever happens. In fact, we’ve yet to see it happen once with one of our clients—they’ve all gone on to gain citizenship or are in the process of doing so.

In fact, the visa program is more or less a citizenship program. The visa is just granted for the short-term because your citizenship process can’t actually begin until you physically land in the country.

We’ve specifically chosen the easiest countries for citizenship… and once you land; it’ll take an average of 3-6 months.

There’s no tests to take, and most of the time you go through an interview where you prove you are who you say you are, you swear yourself in as a member of the country, they take your photo and your fingerprints, and you’re issued a passport a few weeks later.

Each country is slightly different than the next, but with all of the eleven countries on our list, you will get your investment amount back.

What makes Interpass different from other companies that high net worth individuals use to move abroad?

Rather than being in it for the money, our founder is a first-generation immigrant who relocated himself and his family permanently to his desired country in 1991.

Since then, he’s been relentless about helping others with that same desire accomplish their dreams as well. He’s been through the ups and downs of the entire process himself and many times more with the clients he’s helped.

We also provide the services to help you move to a number of different countries (eleven!) instead of just one, and all sorts of different locations—Europe, North America, and The Caribbean.

We have the kind of experience you simply don’t find elsewhere, and quite frankly, nothing about the immigration process surprises us anymore. We’re prepared for everything, because we’ve already seen everything.

Unlike some of our conglomerate-level competitors, we’ll take notes on your specific situation, remember exactly who you are even if you call us out of the blue, and will be happy to stay in touch with you even after our work together is finished.

How much of an investment should I expect to make?

Investments to obtain the permanent residency and second passports range from $100,000 USD to $5 million depending on your country of choice and the number of family members you want to emigrate.

I realize that’s a huge range, so to give you a better idea, the average investment is around $400,000-$500,000.

Will I have to live in a rural area?

No. This is an unfortunate myth that floats around, but most countries will not restrict you to living in one specific location.

What, exactly, can you help me do?

We help you decide which of the eleven countries’ programs is best for you and your family to emigrate through. We don’t make a decision for you, and we don’t push you in any particular way. We present the information about their visa opportunities, their citizenship process, and will provide information on life in the country itself as you request it.

Beyond that, we will deliver all the paperwork you need so you don’t have to worry about not having something important.

We’ll also double-check that paperwork for you to make sure it’s ready to submit to the country’s immigration lawyers and help you track down any hard-to-find information you need to fill that paperwork out.

How long does the process take?

We’ve seen the process take as little as two weeks, believe it or not.

But typically, you can expect to have everything settled and your visa and passport within three to nine months depending on the country you choose.

How do I know I can trust you?

We’ve helped over 5,000 clients from 115 different countries.

Some of them have been kind enough to share their stories, which you can read here .
